Who we are
Kynexis MRI (Movement Recognition Index) is an educational movement assessment app for coaches and evaluators, operated by Human Motion Associates ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Kynexis MRI app and website collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
Your account
Your first and last name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash — we cannot read them.
Athlete information you enter
For each athlete you assess: name, date of birth, gender, sport, position, handedness, assessment scores and observations, and any notes you write.
Assessment videos
Videos you record during assessments, including audio, when you choose to sync them to the cloud. If you turn on "Save Videos to Photos", copies are also saved to your device's photo library.
Subscription details
Your plan, subscription status and billing dates. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.
What we do not collect
- We do not show ads and do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising tools in the app.
- We do not collect your location, contacts or browsing history.
- We do not sell your information or the information of your athletes.
How we use information
- To provide the app: scoring assessments, exercise recommendations, reports, progress charts and syncing across your devices.
- To manage your account and subscription.
- To send service emails such as account confirmation and password reset.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run Kynexis MRI, and only as needed for that purpose:

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.
Athletes and minors
Kynexis MRI accounts are for coaches, trainers and evaluators, who must be at least 18 years old. Athletes do not create accounts, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
Athletes who are assessed may be under 18. Users under 18 need permission from a parent or guardian. Before entering information about, or recording video of, an athlete under 18, the coach or evaluator must have permission from the athlete's parent or guardian.
A parent or guardian may ask us to review or delete their child's information by emailing humanmotion@me.com. We will work with the coach's account to remove it.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep your information while your account is active.
Delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete Account. This immediately and permanently deletes your account, athletes, assessments, notes and synced videos from our servers, and cancels your subscription.
- Database backups are kept for up to 30 days and then permanently removed.
- Stripe keeps payment records as required for tax and accounting.
- Signing out removes your data from that device. Videos you saved to your photo library stay there until you delete them.
Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, videos are stored in access-controlled storage and shared only through short-lived links, and access to athlete data requires your login. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your athletes' information in the app, and delete your account in Settings. You may also email us to request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we will honor requests as required.
Where information is stored
Information is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app or by email.
